• Additions to Optional Data Offerings (November 2007): Liquidity Partners provides forward curve data for the NGL and Olefins markets.
   
• Additions to Implied Volatilities and Greeks (October 2007): LIM stores implied volatilities and greeks for seven symbols.
   
• Handling of Summer Time/Daylight Savings Time: (October 2007): The data for the extra hour will be captured for both U.S. and European electricity markets in a custom DST column.
   
• Data Additions to Optional Offerings: (August 2007): There are new optional data offerings available from TFS, Markit, COMPUSTAT Xpressfeed, and CBOT.
   
• New Marginal Loss Data from PJM ISO: (June 2007): Beginning on June 1, 2007, the LMP pricing approach will be modified to calculate transmission loss costs on a marginal basis, or Marginal Losses.
   
• GasMart 2007 and LIM Data News: (April 2007): LIM and Bentek are gearing up for GasMart 2007 taking place in downtown Chicago on May 9-11th at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place hotel. LIM and their data vendor partner Bentek have exhibition booths at this exciting market center event for buyers and sellers.
   
• Symbol Mapping of the Daily Platt's Oilgram Price Report: (March 2007):  As a part of our continued effort to keep our customers at the forefront of changes in the oil market, LIM is proud to present a comprehensive symbol mapping of the Daily Platt's Oilgram Price Report. This spreadsheet is prepared and maintained by LIM to assist our customers in navigating data from Platts.
   
• System Compliance Notification - Daylight Savings Time: (February 2007): In accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005, beginning in 2007, the start and end date for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. and Canada will change.  LIM has established a formal plan to review all vendors, data and systems in order to identify and evaluate the need to implement changes where necessary.
   
• Data Additions to Core and Optional Offerings: (February 2007): There are new optional data offerings available from Southwest Power Pool, OMIP Iberian Energy Exchange (Portugal), EIA Energy Electricity Generation, and Bonneville Power Administration Transmission Data, along with new core data offerings from Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
   
• EnergyHistory Website Announcement: (January 2007): Logical Information Machines is pleased to introduce a new EnergyHistory website for the exclusive use of LIM clients. EnergyHistory is loaded with insightful XMIM and MIMIC queries plus many energy industry articles and analyses.
   
• XmimGetRecords API Notification: (December 2006): LIM is addressing recent issues concerning MIM server data retrieval methods using XmimGetRecords APIs.
   
• LIM Handling of Daylight Savings Time: (October 2006): Data from various LIM vendors, most specifically North American ISO Electricity prices, will now include a separate column for the extra hour that occurs during the transition from U.S. Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time. 
   
• Data Additions to Optional Offerings:  (September 2006): There are new optional data offerings available from Implied Volatility and Greeks, EIA Electricity, EIA Natural Gas, Baker Hughes, MISO, ERCOT, Heren, and LIM Advanced Technology NYSE TAQ Millisecond Database Solution.
   
• New Applications Available from Industrial Information Resources (IIR): (July 2006): IIR has developed two new interactive data services, PowerCast Live and PetroCast Live, for their customers. Data from these services is likely to be added to LIM's distribution packages as clients request them from the vendor.
   
• Data Vendor and Dataset Additions to Optional Offerings:  (July 2006): New datasets from CAISO and IESO/IMO, and the addition of optional data vendors: London Energy Brokers' Association (LEBA) Carbon Indices, Bentek Pipe2Pipe, and European Central Bank (ECB) Exchange Rates.
   
• Expanding EEX Electricity Offerings & Changing Path of Phelix Futures:  (April 2006): Beginning Thursday, April 6th, 2006 LIM will begin posting additional EEX Electricity futures contracts.
  On May 5th, 2005, LIM will delete the current path of Phelix Futures and replace it with a new path.
   
• New Office Location in Singapore and Data Additions: (March 2006): New datasets from Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO), California ISO (CAISO), Dewitt, ERCOT, German OMR, PJM Interconnection and the addition of optional data vendors: Cantor Emissions Environmental Markets and European Interbank Interest Rate Market.
   
• Data Vendor and Dataset Additions to Core and Optional Offerings: (January 2006):  MISO, DRI, GICS, Spectron and WSI. 
   
• Press Release (November 2005): Genscape and LIM to Partner in Providing Data and Analytics Solutions to the Energy Markets.
   
• Data Promotion (October 2005):  LIM and WSI (Weather Services International) team up to offer a 30 Day Complimentary Data Feed & PowerTrader Access. 
   
• U.S. Gulf Coast Hurricanes and Data Coverage (September 2005) Standard Operating Procedure:  The combination of damage done by hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the past few weeks has disrupted trading and delivery of crude oil, refined products, natural gas and natural gas liquids throughout the region.
   
• US Argus Emissions Data Feed Upgrade (August 2005) Standard Operating Procedure: LIM is incorporating more accurate descriptions of contract timing.
   
• Press Release (August 2005): AlphaLogic Technologies and LIM Form Partnership to Provide CTI Data.
   
• Final Notice: Data Announcement (August 2005) Maintenance Procedure: Users must change the way they use component files to reference the Index Constituent relations in their queries. The component text files will be removed effective 8/19/2005.

• Changes to Platts Dirty Freight Hierarchy (March 2005) Maintenance Procedure: LIM will change the data hierarchy for Platts Dirty Freight Data, on Friday, April 15, 2005.

• New Brent Delivery Month Series (November 2003): The Platts electronic feed to LIM customers provides three forward months of quotations for Brent (or Brent/Forties/Oseberg stream) Crude.
   
• weatherXchange Optional Data Addition (November 2003): LIM is pleased to announce the addition of an optional data set from weatherXchange, the European resource for weather risk management.
   
• Data Organization Announcement (October 2003): LIM is relocating all of
  the data from the "Other" category into more appropriate locations in the
  MIM hierarchy.
   
• Global Insight Equities and Indices (October 2003):  More information on the equities and indices from Global Insight.
   
• Data Notification (August 2003):  Listings include: Ontario Electricity Market Operator (IMO) Transmission Rights Auction data, futures expiration dates, OPIS Crude Postings, German Oil Market Report (OMR), ICE/10x Intra-day "Deals" data for US gas & power, and information on pre-calculated continuation series.
   
• Global Insight Data Notification (July 2003):  LIM is now providing equity prices from Global Insight.

• MMS Notification (April 2003):  A new series of MMS economic data will be added to the MIM database on April 15, 2003.

• Removing Root:Futures:options (March 2003):  LIM will be removing all of the "_OPT" alias series on Monday evening 3/14/2003. These series are located under the hierarchy in Root:Futures:options.
    
• Holiday Date Files (February 2003): Vendor / Holiday date files are now available.
    
• COMPUSTAT (February 2003):  The following COMPUSTAT data sets were added to the Market Information Machine (MIM) in Q1 2003:  Full Coverage Annual Files, Full Coverage Quarterly Files, Merged Research Annual Files, Merged Research Quarterly Files and PDE Research Files
   
• Symbols Discontinued from LIM Data Feed (January 2003): See the Inactive Symbol List for the symbols that will be discontinued from the LIM feed January 22, 2003.
    
• OneChicago (December 2002): LIM has single stock futures from the new OneChicago electronic exchange. The Narrow-Based Indices and Diamonds Futures will become available as they are activated on the OneChicago exchange.
    
• Energy Argus Utility Data (October 2002): Energy Argus signs a distribution agreement with LIM for Energy Argus Utility data. The agreement covers forward pricing in coal, oil, power and emissions to provide an in-depth long-term outlook for the industry.
    
• COMPUSTAT (September 2002): Our already unmatched data set is further enhanced by this quality data provided by Standard and Poor's. 
   
• Kiodex Global Market Data (August 2002): LIM and Kiodex are offering a 25% discount off the annual subscription price to those companies that sign up for a Kiodex Global Market Data subscription by September 1st, 2002.
