Data Notification
Moving TopRelation:Other:DRIEnergy & Argus Categories

Notification - March 2004 - LIM customer databases have all recently been upgraded to 4X MIM versions. One of the benefits of the 4X platform is that certain previous restrictions on the location of data in the MIM tree have now been removed.

As part of our ongoing desire to keep your MIM database up-to-date and make the data more accessible to users, we now intend to move the following two categories from "TopRelation:Other" to TopRelation:Energy":

TopRelation:Other:DRIEnergy to TopRelation:Energy:DRIEnergy
TopRelation:Other:Argus to TopRelation:Energy:Argus

It is planned to implement this change on Monday, March 15, 2004.

Customers will not see any difference in symbols or columns, just the parent change in the hierarchy. The only likely impact would be if an XMIM query referred to the entire relation of the data in TopRelation:Other or any sub branch of the data. If queries refer directly to symbols, they will not be affected.

For Example:

The following XMIM query refers to data in the hierarchy by relation path:

SHOW
1: TopRelation:Other:DRIEnergy:DRIMarkets: PetroleumMonthly:PM_Stock:PMS_Total:KCONS.M

Rather than by symbol:

SHOW
1:KCONS.M

The relation path will need to be modified in the first instance.
