Global Insight Equities

LIM Data Warehouse - July 2003 - LIM is now providing equity prices from Global Insight.

Current MIM symbols will continue to be updated for a period of time which will allow a full deployment of a new Global Insight database for your MIM. For more details on the deployment schedule, please contact sales@lim.com.

The new Global Insight database will include 2 folders, one for active symbols and one for retired symbols.

Example:
  TopRelation:Equities:GlobalInsight
  TopRelation:Equities:GlobalInsightRetired

The symbols are grouped by exchange. Under GlobalInsight and GlobalInsightRetired there are 4 folders:

• Amex
• Nasdaq
• Nyse
• Otc

The core package includes AMEX, NASDAQ, and NYSE . Optionally, OTC can be purchased in the "all equities" package.

In addition, there is a new symbol standard implemented:
  GII.ticker.exchange

For Example:
  GII.ADH.AMEX

As an added convenience alias MIM symbols have been provided with the format:
  GII.cusip

• Mutual Funds
• Canadian Equities
• European Equities
