New Data Announcement

LIM Data Warehouse - March 2003 - The following new data sets have been added to the MIM:

LIM TAQ Daily Processing Service
The LIM TAQ Daily® Processing Service is now available to assist customers in obtaining the TAQ Daily data available in tick and minute bar form. TAQ Daily is a product from the New York Stock Exchange www.nysedata.com , identical in content with the original TAQ Database product, except the files are updated "next day" on a daily basis.

As an added bonus, LIM provides a "TOTAL Value" column (trade price * trade size) summed over the minute. This can be very helpful with MoneyFlow or Accumulation-Distribution calculations used in many trading models.

New England ISO SMD Standard Market Design -
launched March 1, 2003

Previously LIM has covered the New England ISO market data that provided a single hourly clearing price for all of the New England Pool (NEPOOL) members. The ISO launched its new SMD market with Locational Marginal Pricing (lmp) for 8 Zones, 33 hubs and over 900 network nodes each providing hourly day ahead and real time lmps. This market transition was handled smoothly by LIM who tested the new data sets provided by the ISO and had the first new data available for customers on the evening of
February 28th, 2003.

New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) OTC
This important addition to the world's largest Energy Futures Exchange, the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) allows members to conduct OTC trades based on standard exchange contracts and have the trades cleared through the NYMEX Clearing House facility. Each day, forward settlement prices for traded instruments are published to the NYMEX website.

LIM now offers customers an optional data set of NYMEX OTC settlement prices, arranged as futures contracts so that you can look at continuation series and view the data as a forward curve in the MIMIC software. Contact sales@lim.com to subscribe.

DOE History of Fuel Usage Data
The DOE History of Fuel Usage data starts in 1855. This data is now part of the core data set, located in the MIM under Root:Energy:DOE Statistics

Argus Hourly Electricity
LIM now provides Energy Argus hourly pricing indices. These indices cover 10 of the most active North American trading hubs providing users a clear edge in pricing deals and analyzing risk in today's highly volatile markets.

Historical hourly prices are available as far back as July 2000. For more information, please see the "Energy Argus Hourly Index Service" document.
