LIM is pleased to announce the coverage addition of C1 Energy (C1) crude and product pricing data.

C1 Energy, the first independent Chinese professional provider of market intelligence on China's petroleum markets, started daily Chinese and English market assesments and reporting in/from China in 2000. C1 is now generally recognized as the industry's leading source of market information on China's oil and LPG/gas markets. Only C1 can provide 3-year historical price series for all the major Chinese oil product markets.

Delivery Date Enhancement for Global Insight Equity Historical Split Adjustments

Global Insight is now delivering Equity historical split adjustments on the morning of the Ex-Date as opposed to the evening of the Ex-Date. This means, at market open, the history in the MIM will sync with the newly adjusted price that the stock is being traded at that day as opposed to receiving the splits after closing.


***MIMODBC Obsolescence Notice***

LIM is no longer offering the MIMODBC product. MIMODBC support will continue to be offered to clients who are currently employing this technology. No enhancements will be made to the existing MIMODBC product.

Removing "TopRelation:Futures:Indices" and
"TopRelation:Other:Financial_Inst" Categories

LIM customer databases have all recently been upgraded to 4X MIM versions. One of the benefits of the 4X platform is that certain previous restrictions on the location of data in the MIM tree have now been removed.

As part of our ongoing desire to keep your MIM database up-to-date and make the data more accessible to users, we now intend to move all of the data under the "TopRelation:Futures:Indices" category into the "TopRelation:Futures:MktIndices" category.

In addition, the data located under the "TopRelation:Other:Financial_Inst" category will be relocated to the "TopRelation:EconomicIndicators" category.

It is planned to implement these changes on February 15, 2004.

Customers will not see any difference in symbols or columns, just the parent change in the hierarchy. The only likely impact would be if an XMIM query referred to the entire relation of the data in TopRelation:Futures:Indices (or TopRelation:Other:Financial_Inst) or any sub branch of the data. If queries refer directly to symbols, they will not be affected.
